DOOGLE – INDIA DATA MARKETPLACE

REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

Effective Date: 19 October 2026

1. INTRODUCTION

Welcome to Doogle – India Data Marketplace (“Doogle”, “Platform”, “Website”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
Doogle provides access to structured Company Data and People Data organized by categories, industries and locations. The Platform follows a simple digital purchase process:
SELECT → PAY → DOWNLOAD
Once payment is successfully completed, the selected digital dataset may be made available to the purchaser for download and use in accordance with the applicable Terms & Conditions and Data Usage Policy.
Because Doogle provides digital data products that may be delivered immediately after payment, refunds are subject to the conditions contained in this Refund Policy.
By making a purchase, the purchaser confirms that they have read, understood and accepted this Refund Policy.

2. IMPORTANT REFUND PRINCIPLE

ALL DATA PURCHASES SHOULD BE CONSIDERED FINAL ONCE THE DIGITAL DATA HAS BEEN ACCESSED, UNLOCKED, DELIVERED OR DOWNLOADED, SUBJECT TO MANDATORY RIGHTS AVAILABLE UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.
A purchaser should therefore carefully review:

  1. the type of dataset;
  2. Company Data or People Data;
  3. category;
  4. industry;
  5. location/state;
  6. dataset description;
  7. quantity/scope;
  8. applicable price; and
  9. any dataset-specific conditions
before making payment. The Doogle website allows users to select company or people data and filter according to category, industry and location.

3. DIGITAL NATURE OF THE PRODUCT

The products offered through Doogle are primarily digital datasets.
Unlike physical goods, digital datasets may be:

  1. instantly delivered;
  2. downloaded;
  3. copied;
  4. stored;
  5. accessed;
  6. imported into another system; or
  7. used immediately after purchase.
Accordingly, once digital delivery or access has occurred, Doogle may not be able to practically recover the delivered information.
Therefore, change of mind, lack of commercial use, failure to obtain expected business results or failure to use the downloaded data will ordinarily not constitute grounds for a refund, subject always to applicable mandatory law.

4. NO REFUND FOR CHANGE OF MIND

A refund will ordinarily not be available merely because the purchaser:

  1. changed their mind;
  2. no longer requires the dataset;
  3. purchased the wrong dataset due to their own selection;
  4. purchased more data than required;
  5. failed to use the dataset;
  6. did not obtain expected leads;
  7. did not obtain customers;
  8. did not obtain sales;
  9. did not generate revenue;
  10. did not obtain business opportunities;
  11. did not receive responses from persons or businesses contained in the dataset;
  12. considers the dataset commercially unsuitable after purchase; or
  13. finds another source offering similar information.
Doogle's existing Terms expressly state that Doogle does not guarantee sales, revenue, leads, customer acquisition, conversions, profits or any particular business opportunity.

5. NO REFUND AFTER DOWNLOAD OR ACCESS

Subject to applicable law, no refund will ordinarily be provided once the purchaser has:

The purchaser acknowledges that the act of accessing or downloading digital data may constitute acceptance of digital delivery.

6. WRONG DATASET SELECTED BY PURCHASER

The purchaser is responsible for selecting the correct dataset before payment.
If a purchaser accidentally selects:

  1. the wrong state;
  2. wrong city/location;
  3. wrong category;
  4. wrong industry;
  5. wrong Company Data;
  6. wrong People Data;
  7. incorrect quantity; or
  8. another dataset,
Doogle may, at its sole reasonable discretion, consider a correction or replacement request where the dataset has not yet been accessed or downloaded.
Such correction is not an automatic entitlement.

7. DUPLICATE PURCHASES

If the same purchaser accidentally completes the same transaction more than once, the purchaser should immediately contact Doogle with the relevant order numbers.
Where Doogle verifies that a genuine duplicate transaction occurred and the duplicate dataset has not been accessed or downloaded, Doogle may consider cancelling the duplicate transaction or issuing an appropriate refund.
Where both copies have already been accessed or downloaded, the transaction may be treated as a completed digital delivery and may not qualify for a refund, subject to applicable law.

8. TECHNICAL DELIVERY FAILURE

If payment has been successfully completed but the purchaser does not receive access to the purchased dataset because of a genuine technical failure attributable to Doogle, the purchaser should contact Doogle.
Doogle may, at its discretion and subject to verification:

  1. restore access;
  2. provide a replacement download;
  3. provide equivalent access; or
  4. where appropriate, process a refund.
The purchaser should first provide the order/reference number and transaction details so that Doogle can investigate the transaction.

9. INCOMPLETE OR CORRUPTED DIGITAL FILE

If a downloaded file is technically corrupted or materially incomplete due to a Doogle-side delivery problem, the purchaser should notify Doogle within a reasonable period after discovering the problem.
Doogle may first attempt to:

  1. regenerate the file;
  2. provide a replacement file;
  3. restore download access; or
  4. provide an alternative delivery method.
A refund may be considered where the problem cannot reasonably be rectified.

10. DATA ACCURACY AND REFUND REQUESTS

The purchaser acknowledges that information available through Doogle may originate from public, commercial, partner, lawful, compiled or third-party sources. Doogle may structure and organize information from different sources.
Doogle does not guarantee that every data point will always be:

  1. accurate;
  2. complete;
  3. current;
  4. updated;
  5. error-free;
  6. independently verified; or
  7. suitable for a particular purpose.
Accordingly, a purchaser's dissatisfaction with the commercial usefulness of information will not, by itself, create a refund entitlement.

11. BUSINESS RESULTS ARE NOT A REFUND GUARANTEE

Doogle is an information and business-intelligence marketplace.
Doogle does not guarantee that purchased information will result in:

  1. sales;
  2. revenue;
  3. leads;
  4. customers;
  5. partnerships;
  6. investments;
  7. conversions;
  8. responses;
  9. profits; or
  10. business growth.
The purchaser independently decides whether a particular dataset is suitable for their business purpose.
Therefore, failure to achieve a desired commercial result is not ordinarily a ground for refund.

12. PERSONAL DATA AND PRIVACY

Some datasets may contain information relating to identifiable individuals.
Purchasing access to a dataset does not give a purchaser unrestricted permission to use, disclose, contact, profile or otherwise process personal information unlawfully.
The purchaser is responsible for determining whether their intended use complies with applicable privacy and data-protection laws.
The purchaser must not use purchased information for:

  1. fraud;
  2. scams;
  3. identity theft;
  4. harassment;
  5. stalking;
  6. threats;
  7. unlawful surveillance;
  8. unlawful profiling;
  9. impersonation;
  10. discrimination;
  11. spam or prohibited communications; or
  12. any other unlawful purpose.
The Doogle Terms already impose these restrictions on purchasers.

13. PURCHASER'S INDEPENDENT RESPONSIBILITY

By purchasing a dataset, the purchaser expressly acknowledges:
“I am responsible for evaluating the suitability, legality and permitted use of the information I purchase from Doogle.”
The purchaser is responsible for their own:

  1. decisions;
  2. communications;
  3. marketing activities;
  4. data processing;
  5. storage;
  6. disclosure;
  7. redistribution;
  8. customer interactions; and
  9. subsequent use of the purchased information.
Doogle does not control how a purchaser subsequently uses downloaded information.

14. NO REFUND FOR PURCHASER MISUSE

No refund shall ordinarily be available where the purchaser has:

  1. violated the Terms & Conditions;
  2. violated the Data Usage Policy;
  3. unlawfully processed personal information;
  4. redistributed the dataset;
  5. resold the dataset;
  6. published the dataset;
  7. attempted unauthorized access;
  8. committed fraud;
  9. misrepresented their identity; or
  10. otherwise violated applicable law.
Doogle reserves the right to suspend or terminate access where misuse is suspected or identified.

15. REFUND REQUEST PROCEDURE

Any refund request should be submitted to Doogle through the designated support channel and should include:

  1. Purchaser's full name;
  2. registered email/mobile number;
  3. order/reference number;
  4. date of purchase;
  5. dataset purchased;
  6. payment reference;
  7. reason for the request; and
  8. supporting evidence, where applicable.
Doogle may request additional information reasonably required to verify the transaction.
Submission of a refund request does not automatically mean that a refund is approved.

16. REFUND REVIEW

Doogle will review each eligible refund request based on:

  1. transaction records;
  2. payment status;
  3. access/download records;
  4. dataset delivery status;
  5. technical records;
  6. nature of the complaint;
  7. applicable contractual terms; and
  8. applicable law.
Doogle may maintain transaction, access and download records for operational, security, accounting and dispute-resolution purposes, consistent with its Privacy Policy.

17. APPROVED REFUNDS

Where Doogle determines that a refund is appropriate, the refund will ordinarily be processed through the original payment method or another lawful method determined by Doogle/payment service provider.
The actual time taken for the amount to appear in the purchaser's account may depend upon the payment gateway, bank or financial institution.

18. PAYMENT GATEWAY CHARGES

Where a refund is legally and contractually permitted, Doogle may account for non-recoverable third-party transaction charges, payment gateway charges or other transaction costs only to the extent permitted by applicable law and clearly disclosed where required.
Doogle will not use this clause to defeat any mandatory refund or consumer entitlement.

19. CHARGEBACKS AND PAYMENT DISPUTES

Before initiating a payment chargeback, the purchaser is requested to contact Doogle and provide an opportunity to investigate the transaction.
Where a purchaser initiates an unjustified chargeback after receiving and accessing the purchased digital dataset, Doogle reserves all rights available under applicable law and the applicable payment-provider rules.
Nothing in this section prevents a purchaser from exercising a legally available statutory right.

20. FRAUDULENT OR UNAUTHORIZED TRANSACTIONS

Where Doogle reasonably suspects:

  1. payment fraud;
  2. stolen payment credentials;
  3. unauthorized transactions;
  4. account compromise;
  5. identity misuse; or
  6. other fraudulent activity,
Doogle may suspend access, investigate the transaction and take appropriate action.
Where legally required, Doogle may cooperate with payment providers, banks, law-enforcement agencies or competent authorities.

21. NO GUARANTEE OF CONTINUOUS AVAILABILITY

Doogle does not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Platform or datasets.
The Platform may be affected by:

  1. maintenance;
  2. technical failures;
  3. hosting problems;
  4. internet disruption;
  5. cybersecurity incidents;
  6. third-party service failures;
  7. payment gateway problems;
  8. force majeure events; or
  9. circumstances outside Doogle's reasonable control.
The existing Terms expressly recognize these limitations.

22. PROTECTION OF DOOGLE AND ITS OPERATING PERSONS

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, refund disputes and contractual claims should be directed to the Doogle operating/business entity, rather than personally against an individual founder, director, employee or representative.
In particular, K. Vivekananda Babu, where acting as founder, operator, representative, director or associated individual of Doogle, should not be treated as personally responsible for:

  1. the purchaser's independent use of data;
  2. purchaser communications;
  3. purchaser business decisions;
  4. third-party conduct;
  5. purchaser misuse of information;
  6. independent acts of data sources;
  7. acts of vendors or service providers; or
  8. unlawful conduct of users,
except to the extent that applicable law expressly imposes personal liability.
This follows the protection approach already incorporated in your existing Terms and Privacy Policy.
Important: This provision does not attempt to eliminate any liability that cannot legally be excluded.

23. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Doogle, its operating entity and their respective owners, directors, officers, employees, representatives and service providers shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or business losses arising from:

  1. use of purchased data;
  2. inability to use purchased data;
  3. business decisions;
  4. loss of profits;
  5. loss of revenue;
  6. loss of customers;
  7. loss of business opportunities;
  8. actions of persons identified in datasets;
  9. outdated third-party information; or
  10. purchaser's unauthorized use of data.
The existing Doogle Terms similarly provide for limitation of liability and cap contractual liability, subject to applicable law.

24. INDEMNIFICATION BY PURCHASER

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the purchaser agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Doogle, its operating entity and their respective owners, directors, officers, employees, representatives, affiliates, contractors and service providers from claims, losses, damages, penalties, costs and expenses arising from the purchaser's:

  1. misuse of data;
  2. unlawful processing of personal data;
  3. violation of law;
  4. violation of third-party rights;
  5. unauthorized redistribution;
  6. communications using purchased data;
  7. business decisions;
  8. fraud;
  9. breach of the Terms; or
  10. other unlawful conduct.
This is intended to allocate responsibility for matters caused by the purchaser's own conduct.

25. MANDATORY ACCEPTANCE BEFORE PAYMENT

This section is particularly important for your website implementation.
Before payment is enabled, the checkout page should display:
REFUND POLICY ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
☐I HAVE READ AND ACCEPTED THE DOOGLE REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY.

I understand that I am purchasing a digital dataset. I understand that once the dataset is accessed, unlocked, delivered or downloaded, the transaction is ordinarily non-refundable, subject to applicable law.
I have independently reviewed the dataset description, category, industry, location and other available information before purchasing.
I understand that Doogle does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, commercial usefulness or business results arising from the purchased dataset.
I understand that I am responsible for the lawful use of the purchased information.
I agree to the Doogle Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, Data Usage Policy and Refund Policy.
I understand and accept the applicable liability limitations, purchaser responsibilities, indemnification provisions and dispute-resolution provisions.
[ ✓ I AGREE & PROCEED TO PAYMENT ]
Your existing documents already recommend mandatory acceptance before purchase and recording the user's account, order number, date/time, policy version and transaction details.

26. ELECTRONIC RECORD OF ACCEPTANCE

Doogle may retain evidence of the purchaser's acceptance, including:

  1. account information;
  2. order number;
  3. date and time;
  4. IP address;
  5. transaction reference;
  6. policy version;
  7. checkbox acceptance;
  8. payment status;
  9. dataset selected; and
  10. access/download records,
subject to applicable law and the Doogle Privacy Policy.

The purchaser acknowledges that electronic acceptance may constitute acceptance of the applicable terms to the extent recognized under law.

27. GOVERNING LAW

This Refund Policy shall be governed by the applicable laws of India.
Nothing in this Refund Policy shall be interpreted as excluding a mandatory legal right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

28. JURISDICTION – HYDERABAD

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the parties intend that contractual disputes arising directly between the purchaser and the Doogle operating/business entity shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts at Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
The purchaser agrees that Hyderabad shall be the principal contractual forum for disputes concerning Doogle's commercial transactions to the extent legally permissible.
However, if applicable law grants a consumer, data principal, regulator or other person a mandatory right to approach another statutory forum, authority or jurisdiction, that mandatory forum shall prevail.
This wording is important because the Government's consumer-protection framework includes e-commerce rules and statutory consumer remedies that cannot simply be removed by a website clause.

29. NO WAIVER OF MANDATORY LEGAL RIGHTS

Nothing in this Refund Policy is intended to:

  1. waive mandatory consumer rights;
  2. override applicable data-protection law;
  3. prevent a lawful complaint to a competent regulator;
  4. prevent a legally available statutory remedy; or
  5. exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded.
The purpose of this Policy is to establish clear contractual refund rules while protecting Doogle and its operating entity to the maximum extent legally permissible.

30. CHANGES TO THIS REFUND POLICY

Doogle may modify this Refund Policy from time to time because of:

  1. changes in the Platform;
  2. changes in business practices;
  3. changes in technology;
  4. changes in applicable law; or
  5. regulatory requirements.
The latest version will be published on the Platform with a revised effective date.
The version applicable to a transaction should be the version presented to and accepted by the purchaser at the time of that transaction.

31. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of this Refund Policy is determined to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue to operate to the maximum extent permitted by law.
The affected provision shall be interpreted or modified only to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, wherever legally permissible.

32. ENTIRE REFUND UNDERSTANDING

This Refund Policy should be read together with:

  1. Doogle Terms & Conditions
  2. Doogle Privacy Policy
  3. 3Doogle Data Usage Policy
  4. Doogle Cookie Policy, where applicable
  5. Dataset-specific purchase/licence terms
The existing Terms already establish these documents as part of the contractual framework governing Doogle transactions.

33. FINAL PURCHASER DECLARATION

Before completing a purchase, the purchaser acknowledges:
“I understand that I am purchasing a digital dataset from Doogle. I have reviewed the dataset and the information presented to me before purchase. I understand that digital data may become non-refundable once it is accessed, unlocked, delivered or downloaded, subject to applicable law. I understand that Doogle does not guarantee accuracy, completeness, commercial usefulness, customer acquisition, revenue, profits or any particular business result. I accept responsibility for my lawful use of the purchased data and agree to comply with applicable privacy, data-protection and other laws. I accept the Doogle Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, Data Usage Policy and Refund Policy. To the maximum extent permitted by law, I agree that contractual disputes with Doogle shall be subject to the competent courts at Hyderabad, Telangana, India.”
